Is kindness a heartfelt part of your approach to relationships? Or do you believe kindness will make you too vulnerable to be effective and a good leader?
Today, Hope is excited for Mujadid from Malik Academy's middle school to present his views on kindness, and how he implements it in his every day life. "You shouldn't just do something [kind] because you have to...you should do it because you want to," he explains. "Kindness comes from the heart." Mujadid explains his model of kindness in a very intimate way—based on his personal philosophy and his connection to higher meaning, which he demonstrates beautifully in the piece of art he made.
In today's Hope Clip, this developing teen leader might bring you to tears at points—as he describes the power of kindness, mercy, and a commitment to his community and friends everywhere, especially in a conflict. "Make sure your voice is heard," he says. "Kids have power, they can change the world if they want to."
