Additional Information about Hope Collaborative
Hope Collaborative is a Massachusetts 501(c)(3) organization that empowers youth through proven leadership development workshops that are arts-integrated, student-driven and team-focused. Our 12-module program is targeted specifically at kids and teens in low-income communities. Research shows that kids in poverty lose critical neurological capacities in the face of toxic stress. Where there are major struggles in a disadvantaged family, skills are often developed by some members to counter them. Our program aims to help our partners identify such natural strengths in disadvantaged youth and promote them. We do this by providing our partner sites (both school and after-school programs) with expert facilitators, curriculum, technology access and support they need to implement world-class distributed leadership development and character-building workshops that strengthen a young leader’s core.
